Which 300-level Public Administration courses in NOUN gave you the most trouble during exams?
I’m asking because PAD 305 and PAD 312 are really stressing me. The course materials are too bulky and sometimes the TMA questions don’t even relate properly to what comes out in exams. For those who have already passed these courses, did you focus more on past questions or read all the modules fully?
I also noticed some questions are repeated with different wording, so I’m trying to know the best reading pattern before exams start.

Open community →PAD 312 was the hardest for me honestly. I stopped depending only on past questions after my first semester carryover. What helped me was reading the summaries at the end of each module and watching YouTube explanations on administrative theories.
Oh really? I think this idea is nice. Could you please recommend those YouTube channels for me?

PAD 305 nearly dealt with me that year 😅 The course material is just too much and the exam questions can confuse you if you only cram definitions. PAD 312 was also stressful because some questions came from areas I didn’t really pay attention to while reading.
What helped me eventually was combining past questions with selective reading of the modules. Don’t rely on past questions alone because NOUN likes to rephrase old questions. Sometimes it’s the same topic but they’ll twist the wording and if you don’t understand the concept properly, you’ll miss it.
My pattern was:
1. Read the course guide first to know the important units.
2. Focus more on repeated topics from past questions.
3. Study summaries and highlighted points from each module instead of trying to cram everything.
4. Practice writing answers fast because some exams are time pressure more than difficulty.
